Soon after learning they were the products of a secret genetic experiment, the teens began developing super-abilities ranging from bounding lightness to blocking heaviness; blinding brilliance and the ability to vanish. These same gifts made them targets of a psychopath in officer’s clothing, and they found themselves fighting for their lives.

Picking up where “Solid” left off, Clio and her friends realize that they aren’t ready to go home; they’re determined to stay on campus and continue their journey of self- discovery. But someone doesn’t feel the same way and will do anything to drive them away – even kill.

Half-Blood by Jennifer L Armentrout
Release Date: September 15 2011
Publisher: Spencer Hill Press
Pages: 3
08
Format: ARC Paperback
Genre:YA/Fiction/
Source: Publisher

Goodreads Synopsis:
The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi pure-bloods have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.

Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:

Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.

Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

Anna is looking forward to her senior year in Atlanta, where she has a great job, a loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more. Which is why she is less than thrilled about being shipped off to boarding school in Paris—until she meets Étienne St. Claire: perfect, Parisian (and English and American, which makes for a swoon-worthy accent), and utterly irresistible. The only problem is that he's taken, and Anna might be, too, if anything comes of her almost-relationship back home.
As winter melts into spring, will a year of romantic near-misses end with the French kiss Anna—and readers—have long awaited?

My Thoughts:
Anna and The French Kiss was the cutest book I have read in a long time. I absolutely loved it. This beautiful story of girl loves boy and boy loves girl but the complications of being friends gets in the way.

I adored Anna and Etienne. I was so upset when the book ended because I just couldn't get enough. The writing style was amazing and I loved how Stephanie included humor, love, loss, betrayal, and friendship all wrapped up in this wonderful and amazing book.

A delightful read that makes me want to fall in love all over again. I honestly don't know what more to say then this was such a great read. I could not put it down no matter how hard I tried but I didn't really want to so I didn't. Such great characters and an amazing story. Absolutely wonderful read.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an amazing love story.

In My Mailbox

Hey guys! I am doing another week of In My Mailbox which all of you know is hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren. So this week I actually found this new bookstore near my house. Ok it’s not new but it’s new to me lol. The great thing about this book store is you can bring in your old book for store credit. You get to pick out what books you want and then you use half the store credit and you pay the other half. So pretty much If you buy $80′s worth of books and you have enough store credit you only pay $40.  Not too bad.

Six Moon Summer by S.M Reine

Publisher: Self Published
Pages: 196
Format: ARC Paperback

Goodreads Synopsis:
Rylie's parents are going through a messy divorce. They send her to summer camp to get her out of the way of their fighting lawyers, but she's just as miserable at the girls' camp as she was at home-- there's nothing vegetarian for her to eat at the mess hall, she hates hiking and archery, and the other campers taunt Rylie mercilessly.

One night, the bullying goes too far, and Rylie runs away. She doesn't get far. It's a full moon, and she isn't alone in the forest. A wild animal mauls her. She's certain she won't survive.

Instead of dying, she wakes up unharmed in her cabin the next morning. The only sign that something has changed are the healed scars on her chest, her increasingly keen senses, and her sudden craving for raw, bloody meat. A boy from the other camp seems to know what's happening to her, but Rylie isn't sure if she can trust herself with Seth.

Rylie soon learns that she only has until the end of summer before she becomes just like the monster that attacked her: a man-eating werewolf hungry for human flesh. Unless she can find a cure, she's only six moons away from transforming forever and losing her life to the hunger...

OMG It's finally here!! the cover of Silence has been revealed and it is absolutely gorgeous!! I am in love with this series and it keeps getting better. I cannot wait for Silence to hit the shelves!! I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did

Author Bashing very rude and disrespectful! My Rant

Well if some of you were on twitter tonight you may have noticed some tweets about a debate that went on on Goodreads. There was a not so healthy debate about bashing an author personally. Now I do not agree with this at all. If you do not like a book then by all means state that you did not like it and why you did not like it, do not go and call an author "a sorry excuse for an author". Well someone on Goodreads did and this made some people very angry. It made all of us who love the industry as a whole very upset.
