Review Eve of Samhain by Lisa Sanchez

Eve of Samhain

Goodreads Blurb:
As a college senior and server at Hanaford Park's hottest nightclub, twenty-one year old Ryann Pierce's plan was simple: work hard, make lots of money, and avoid the ass-grabbers at all costs. What she never planned for was Quinn Donegan—the living, breathing advertisement for sinful behavior that waltzed into her life.

With an angelic face, a hard body and a butt-load of charm, Quinn had a way with the ladies—a lot of ladies. Cursed with a deadly, addictive touch, his trail of indiscretion blazed across five hundred years. Tired and jaded, Ryann is a shocking revelation Quinn didn't see coming.

Filled with desire, yet unable to touch one another, Ryann and Quinn embark on a daunting journey, battling frustrating physical limitations while exploring their new love. In a race against the clock, Ryann learns she must plead for Quinn's life before…the Eve of Samhain. Determined to end her lover's suffering, not even the danger dogging her every move can keep her from her mission.

My Thoughts:

As Ryann goes through trying to figure out why Quinn is so hot and cold towards her she ends up on a whirlwind journey that she was not expecting at all. With an undeniable connection Quinn tries to keep Ryann at arms length to protect her from himself. But not only does he have to protect Ryann from himself there is also a dark demon who has his eyes set on Ryann as well.

Trying to keep Ryann safe at all cost, Quinn will do anything he can to save her. Anything even if that means he has to cut himself off from her as well which is the last thing that Quinn wants to do. He has fallen hard for Ryann. He feels for her what he has never felt for anyone else. Ryann cannot understand why Quinn won't express to her what she knows he feels. But she is willing to stand by Quinn no matter what because she knows that he loves her even if he won't express it. She just doesn't understand why he won't.

I absolutely devoured Eve of Samhain. An absolutely amazing read. I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Hilariously written and amazing writing style. Lisa had me hooked from the very first page. I love the light hearted tone that this book had. A great balance of funny and serious raveled into one amazing book.

I love Ryann she is feisty and an amazingly strong heroine. She is absolutely hilarious and a great character to read about.

Quinn is everything I love about a main male character. He is strong sexy sensitive and very well natured. Protective in every sense that matters.

I cannot rave about this book enough!. Definitely a must read for me. If you love paranormal romance and a hilarious writing style then Lisa Sanchez is definitely a must read.

I Give this 5/5 Hearts!!!

  2. This book sounds really good, it's nice to see a slightly older female lead for once. I'll definitely have to check it out, thanks for the review!
