Review: A Werewolf In Manhattan by Vicki Lewis Thompson

A Werewolf in Manhattan by Vicki Lewis Thompson

Goodreads Blurb:

Emma Gavin writes about werewolves, but that doesn't mean she believes in them-not until a pack of real-life New York weres decide to investigate the striking accuracy of her "fiction".
When Aiden Wallace, son and heir of the pack leader, tries to sniff out Emma's potential informant, he discovers something even more dangerous- an undeniable attraction to her.

My Thoughts:
Emma Gavin is a talented New York Times bestselling author who just happens to write about Werewolves. The only problem is her fiction is more fact than she ever could have realized.

Aidan Wallace is the next in line to be pack leader. He has been sent to follow Emma and decide whether she just has a really creative imagination or she has been leaked information from an inside source. Because there is no way that a human could write such an accurate depiction of a race that isn't even suppose to exist.

While on assignment Aidan finds that there is something about Emma that he just cannot deny. No matter how hard it is for him to keep her just a job he finds that he wants her in ways that he shouldn't. With a pre-determined destiny, Aidan has already been promised to Nadia, a Werewolf from another pack. As much as he plans on fulfilling his destiny he finds himself in a predicament. That predicament is Emma.

After receiving anonymous emails from a 'fan' claiming to be a Werewolf, Aidan assigns himself to Emma's security detail while she is on her book tour. He make lets himself believe that it is just for her protection and to find out whether this 'fan' is an actual Werewolf or just a delusional human. As Aidan tries to decide who is more harmful to Emma, her delusional stalker or himself? But he finds that the harder he tries to stay away from Emma the worst it gets.

Emma cannot help but lust after this gorgeous man who has claimed himself as her protector. But has Emma bitten off more than she can chew? Has her flair for creative imagination end up being her downfall? Or will Aidan continue to be her protector no matter what the consequences are?

I absolutely ravished A Werewolf In Manhattan. An amazingly written world that makes me wish Werewolves were real. Vicki has an amazing sense of both the human and animal instincts within all of us and brings it to page in the most amazing way. I adore her characters and I wish that I could have spent some more time with them. If you love Paranormal Romance and you love Werewolves then this is definitely the read for you!

I Give this 5/5 Hearts
