Goodreads Synopsis:
In a place where ecstasy can cost you your life . . .
She's a demon-slayer who hungers for sensual pleasure-but fears it will always be denied her. Until Tayla Mancuso lands in a hospital run by demons in disguise, and the head doctor, Eidolon, makes her body burn with unslakable desire. But to prove her ultimate loyalty to her peers, she must betray the surgeon who saved her life.
Two lovers will dare to risk all.
Eidolon cannot resist this fiery, dangerous woman who fills him with both rage and passion. Not only is she his avowed enemy, but she could very well be the hunter who has been preying upon his people. Torn between his need for the truth and his quest to find his perfect mate before a horrific transformation claims him forever, Eidolon will dare the unthinkable-and let Tayla possess him, body and soul...

My Thoughts:

I loved Pleasure Unbound. A hot and steamy paranormal read that had me itching to read page after page. A twisted tale of human vs demons. What happens when everything you thought you knew turns out to be false? When the enemies that you have been brought up to hate turn around and save your life?

Larissa sucked me into the story from page one. An absolutely amazing paranormal romance that tops the list along with my other favorites. It has everything that I look for in this genre. Hot hero's, kick ass heroines and even the broody silent type that you can't help but love.

I loved Larissa's writing style. I loved her characters. They were hot, funny, vulnerable, devious and protective. Each character definitely left an imprint into the story that made it the wonderful novel that it was.The humor that she puts into her writing had me cracking up. I was pleasantly surprised with Pleasure Unbound and I am very excited to get started on Desire Unchained.

A great paranormal romance that I am very glad that I read. If you love paranormal romance and writers such as J.R Ward, Lara Adrian and Gena Showalter you are going to love Larissa Ione.
