Goodreads Synopsis:
Belly measures her life in summers. Everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. Winters are simply a time to count the weeks until the next summer, a place away from the beach house, away from Susannah, and most importantly, away from Jeremiah and Conrad. They are the boys that Belly has known since her very first summer--they have been her brother figures, her crushes, and everything in between. But one summer, one terrible and wonderful summer, the more everything changes, the more it all ends up just the way it should have been all along.

My Thoughts:
I absolutely fell in love with Jenny's writing. I could not get enough of this amazing book. I read this book in 6 hours straight.  It was one of those stories that kept me hooked from the first page to the last. A great novel with realistic situations and the summer love that you never wanted to end.

I adored Jenny's character's. I fell in love with Beck's Boys. There was something so sweet and sincere about this story that had me laughing and crying all at the same time. I enjoyed the connection I had to each character. I loved each one separately. This was a great summer read. A book that makes me sit back and remember all the summer loves I've had.

The love between Belly and Conrad had me swooning, literally swooning. There is something about forbidden love. The love that you know is more perfect that you can imagine but is being held back by one thing or another. This is the kind of love that keeps me captivated. The kind that you have to work for. That is exactly what Jenny did.

She had me hooked with The Summer I Turned Pretty and I cannot wait for It's Not Summer Without You.. She is an amazing author who has this way of entrancing you to the point where you are so disappointed to leave that you just want to start back at page 1 all over again.

I Give This 5/5 Hearts!!
