Goodreads Synopsis:
Pleasure is their ultimate weapon . . .
Runa Wagner never meant to fall in love with the sexy stranger who seemed to know her every deepest desire. But she couldn't resist the unbelievable passion that burned between them, a passion that died when she discovered his betrayal and found herself forever changed. Now, determined to make Shade pay for the transformation that haunts her, Runa searches for him, only to be taken prisoner by his darkest enemy.

A Seminus Demon with a love-curse that threatens him with eternal torment, Shade hoped he'd seen the last of Runa and her irresistible charm. But when he wakes up in a dank dungeon chained next to an enraged and mysteriously powerful Runa, he realizes that her effect on him is more dangerous than ever.

As their captor casts a spell that bonds them as lifemates, Shade and Runa must fight for their lives and their hearts-or succumb to a madman's evil plans.

My Thoughts:
Larissa does it again with book 2 of the Demonica Series. Desire Unchained is Shade's story and I don't think that Larissa could have done a better job with it.

Desire Unchained is an action-pact roller coaster ride of a novel. The push and pull between Runa and Shade had me gripping to read more. I loved the emotional ups and downs that she made her character's go through. She made them work for it.

The plot takes a definite twist in book 2 that leads me craving more of this amazing series. When you think that the story is about to take a calming twist, Larissa fires back with more plot turner's that keep you guessing. I love how Larissa integrates medicine with the army and rolls in the supernatural carpet. I love how she makes her demon's the good guys! Definitely an A-Plus in my book.

Her story line is something to die for and I cannot get enough of the Sems brothers. I am so thrilled with this series and I cannot believe it has taken me this long to pick up books. I adore paranormal romance and Larissa did not disappoint with this great series. She is a supernatural genius who keeps me hanging on from the first word. I cannot get enough of this amazing author and I am highly looking forward to sinking my teeth into book 3!

I Give This 5/5 Hearts!
