Goodreads Synopsis:
Theia Alderson has always led a sheltered life in the small California town of Serendipity Falls. But when a devastatingly handsome boy appears in the halls of her school, Theia knows she's seen Haden before- not around town, but in her dreams.

As the Haden of both the night and the day beckons her closer one moment and pushes her away the next, the only thing Theia knows for sure is that the incredible pull she feels towards him is stronger than her fear.

And when she discovers what Haden truly is, Theia's not sure if she wants to resist him, even if the cost is her soul.

My Thoughts:

Falling Under is nothing like what I expected it to be. I fell in love with the cover the moment I laid my eyes on it.

Falling Under has this great quality of bringing a fairy tale to life, except your fairy tale turns out to be your nightmare and there is nothing you can do to wake up. But what happens when you wake up and find that your nightmare's weren't your nightmares at all?

I absolutely adored Falling Under. Gwen has this amazing way of connecting with her audience. I adored her characters and I couldn't stop reading no matter how hard I tried. Gwen took one of my favorite supernatural beings and put the most romantic spin on them that I have read in a while.

Haden and Theia captured my heart and pulled at it's strings. A classic Romeo and Juliet kind of story but with an edge that makes it all it's own. Her backdrops and character development sucked me in.

I praise Gwen for bringing such a classic love story and putting a modern spin on it like nothing I have read in a while. Gwen Hayes is an amazing author who definitely needs to be read. Falling Under will entrance you and keep you captivated. You will want to Fall with Haden and Theia and follow along with their wonderful journey.

I Give This 5/5 Hearts!

  2. I have this book on my TBR list but honestly haven't seen a lot of reviews for it - so I'm happy to see a 5 heart review! I am so looking forward to a unique take on a traditional love story.
