Goodreads Synopsis:
Danger waits on both sides of the grave.

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband Bones have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they've triumphed over the latest battle, Cat's new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance . . .
With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous "ally"—the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war . . . to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined.

My Thoughts:
Well she does it again. Jeanine Frost brings you another page turner with This Side of The Grave. The story continues as Cat and Bones face off against yet another enemy who wants nothing but to destroy the unique vampire Cat Crawfield.

I honestly didn't believe that Jeanine could put out another story with the same brilliant sexiness that she has been doing with this entire series. Jeanine Frost is a force to be reckoned with. Her amazing Nighthuntress Series has been a favorite of mine since book 1.

Jeanines mix of humour and brilliant writing brings me to a halt every time I pick up one of her books. This Side of The Grave did not disappoint. The series just keeps getting more and more dangerous and more explosive with every chapter.

If you have picked up this great series then you know what I am talking about and if you haven't then you are sourly missing out on one of the greatest Paranormal Romance series that I have read yet.

Cat and Bones are just a force that is unbreakable. They are the testament of standing together through thick or thin. Come hell or high water they are the most explosive couple and they keep me entertained with each sentence. Cat is a kick ass heroine who refuses to let what her life has dealt her keep her from her one true happiness, Bones. Bones is the arrogant smart ass British vampire who has the ability to make Cat go weak at the knees with just a glance.

Jeanine Frost will always be a favorite of mine. She is an incredible writer with an edge that I have yet to read from anyone else. There is no one else like Jeanine Frost and I will always pick up her books. She keeps me laughing, crying and just down right enthralled with each book she writes.!

  3. Cat's maturing isn't just limited to her decision making but also extended to the other people in her life. She's more contemplative and is thinking beyond the obvious and is learning to work as a team with all of the talent surrounding her.
