My Thoughts:
I absolutely loved Wildefire. Ash was an amazing heroine. She is a firecracker with such fury and an edginess to her that made reading Wildefire enjoyable
I loved the plot of Wildefire. A breathtaking change from most of the novels that are being published. The Gods and Goddess aspect was refreshing. I loved the relationship that Ash had with Eve. The dynamic of their violent relationship definitely made this an enticing read.
I thought all the sub character's were great. I actually found myself crying through some parts. Ash's love interest Colt is definitely a sexy character. A rough and smoldering park ranger. He awakens something in Ash that she didn't think she would experience again.
The cliffhanger at the end of Wildefire had me in shock. Most endings are somewhat predictable but I honestly did not see this one coming. Karsten did an amazing job of deterring your attention elsewhere, while he snuck up one of the best cliffhanger's I have read in a long time.
I loved loved Wildefire. Definitely an amazing YA read that will leave you craving for more.

I struggled with this one a lot. I felt that Karsten wrote the book with some plot elements missing. That being said I did like the originality of the story and that their powers came from lesser known areas. I was attached in some weird way by the end of the story and I really want to know more about the park ranger all of a sudden having something to do with Ash's world.
