My Thoughts:
I liked Wolfsbane. I thought Andrea did a good job with it. I don't think I liked it as much as I liked Nightshade though.
I had really high hopes for Wolfsbane, I am not sure if I was hoping that it would surpass Nightshade or if I just had really high expectations but I thought that Nightshade was going to go in a different direction than it did.
Now I am not saying that I didn't enjoy it because I did. I absolutely love Andrea's writing and I love this story immensely. I just thought that she was going to take the story in a different direction.
I loved how Calla and Shay were finally able to be together but I was a little upset with Calla for her emotions conflicting as much as they did when it came to Ren. I know that she was born to believe that her and Ren were going to be together and that those feelings wouldn't have gone away over night, I just thought that she was focusing a little too much on those feelings for Ren instead of trying to figure out how much she loves Shay.
I loved the new character's that were introduced. I thought they brought a great element to the story. It's definitely a nice twist to see the "enemy" and the "good guys" working together.
Such a great series and Andrea never disappoints. A great story of love, loss and overcoming your own insecurities and learning to live with your destiny. I love The Nightshade series and I cannot wait to read Bloodrose.

Hmmm.... I like Ren much more than Shay so I wouldn't mind if she had *feelings* for Ren.Good review.I was thinking of picking this one up but I didn't like Nightshade that much so....

I would suggest if you do not know how to portray the kind of deep romance or love that I felt Andrea Cremer was trying to get across then you best leave your novel as an action novel. ( This is of course entirely opinion.) I would still re-read it if entirely bored out of my mind. ( As not to say it was horrible because it was clearly still entirely action savvy)
