Goodreads Synopsis:
What if you were bound for a new world, about to pledge your life to someone you'd been promised to since birth, and one unexpected violent attack made survival—not love—the issue?

Out in the murky nebula lurks an unseen enemy: the New Horizon. On its way to populate a distant planet in the wake of Earth's collapse, the ship's crew has been unable to conceive a generation to continue its mission. They need young girls desperately, or their zealous leader's efforts will fail. Onboard their sister ship, the Empyrean, the unsuspecting families don't know an attack is being mounted that could claim the most important among them...

Fifteen-year-old Waverly is part of the first generation to be successfully conceived in deep space; she was born on the Empyrean, and the large farming vessel is all she knows. Her concerns are those of any teenager—until Kieran Alden proposes to her. The handsome captain-to-be has everything Waverly could ever want in a husband, and with the pressure to start having children, everyone is sure he's the best choice. Except for Waverly, who wants more from life than marriage—and is secretly intrigued by the shy, darkly brilliant Seth.

But when the Empyrean faces sudden attack by their assumed allies, they quickly find out that the enemies aren't all from the outside

My Thoughts:
Glow was nothing at all like I expected it to be. I was actually really surprised and pleased with how well this book turned out.I am kind of iffy when it comes to novel's that are based in outer space, but Glow was really well done and the plot of the story was actually very amazing.

Glow is unlike anything I have read in a very long time. But the twists and turns of the plot are something to be desired. I was honestly pleased with the content of the book. It made
Glow that much more interesting for me and the fact that the content is like nothing I have read before made it all that more interesting.

The push and the pull between the two ships rivals any warring that we have read about. Trying to save humanity is the only thoughts of these people. But it turns out that they may have caused more destruction than good. I loved how edgy and dark this book was.

Glow does rival books like The Hunger Games just for the darker content and the such uniqueness of the novel it was really enjoyable to read something this fresh.

I was really happy with how Glow turned out. I loved the character's immensely. Kieran and Waverly are too very strong characters. They do what they must to keep the hopes of their loved ones alive. I am so excited to see how the next novel is going to be. I have a feeling that the way the book was left off that Spark is going to be as just an amazing thrill ride as Glow. I am very excited to continue the journey with the character's.
