Goodreads Synopsis:
As a child, Angelina spent years in counseling learning that Josie, her imaginary friend, wasn't real, but it turns out her childhood friend wasn't imaginary after all.Now Angelina has to accept she's either (A) crazy or (B) able to see ghosts. Wanting to believe in her sanity, she chooses (B) and welcomes Josie back into her life. But even Josie can't help her deal with Shelly, the spirit of a confused teenager, and things go very, very wrong. When Angelina finds herself in a psychiatric hospital, she faces a choice: she can spend the rest of her life pretending to be someone she isn't, or she can embrace who she is and take a chance that she may never get to go home

My Thoughts:
I would have to say that I was not overly thrilled with Angelina's Secret. This book did not grab me the way I was hoping it would. I had such high hopes for the premise of this novel.

I am not saying that it was horrible by any means. There were some good aspects. I wasn't convinced with Angelina though. There was an aspect of her character that I just did not find believable. Her interactions with the ghost's were at times comical and it added some good laughs.

I really liked her brother Sam. To me he was one of the only convincing characters in the book. He really feared for his sister and it came across well.

There was a romantic relationship that came through at the very end of the book. I thought did not like that he appeared here and there throughout the book and he just shows up at the very end.

I did read Angelina's Secret in one sitting. It was a very light read one that you can get through quickly but it did not hold as much spark for me as I had hoped it would. But this is a good book if you want something light and at times funny but there was not as much depth to it for me as I would have liked.
