Follow Friday and Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by the wonderful Jennifer from Crazy For Books and Follow Friday is hosted by two great bloggers Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read

This weeks question comes from L.E over at Butterfly O Meter Books

Question: The sound of silence: When reading, do you assign each character their own voice in your head, or do they all sound the same? Do they sound like you or someone else

Answer: Oh definitely. My character's all sound different. I love giving them their own voices in my head. Depending on the book some of the male character's will have deeper voices or even accents. And with a lot of books being turned into movies now I find myself giving them a voice of which actor I think would play them best. I love getting so lost inside the pages of a book that they come to life like a little movie in my head.

Question: Are you thankful for a fellow blogger? Tell us about him or her

Answer: I am thankful for Giselle over at The Book Nerd I adore her tutorials that she posts. I also love how interactive she is with her readers. She genuinely wants to help other's become better bloggers and she shares her secrets and tidbits and she is just an overall nice person

Glad to hear you assign them their own voices too, it makes the reading experience more fun I think, makes them even more alive.

  3. I definitely agree! I read kind of slow and I blame it on all the voices and ambiance I create in my head.

  4. I've answered only Parajunkee's question but I read both your answers. Voices always keep playing in my head while reading. :P And yes, Giselle's blog is really nice!

  7. I'm a new follower :)

I think this week's question was so great! I love imagining scenes in the book as a movie in my head. It's always more enjoyable than watching an actual movie, because there's so much more detail.

Check out my Book Blogger Hop post.
