So to go along with my 2013 resolutions of interacting more and participating in more challenges, I will be participating in Bout of Books read-a-thon. To tell you the truth in the past two years of blogging this will be my first read-a-thon. Horrible I know! Gah how can I have gone this long without participating in a read-a-thon. And this read-a-thon could not have come at a better time. The kiddies are back to school on Monday so it will be a great week to super read my brains out :) The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 7th and runs through Sunday, January 13th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 6.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 6.0 team So for this being my first read-a-thon and with knowing full well that I can read a book in a day if not a book and a half so I will be shooting for a goal of 10 books. The books that I will be reading are Illuminate by Amiee Agresti Incarnate by Jodi Medows Halo by Alexandra Adornetto Immortal Beloved by Cate Tiernan Spellbound by Cara Lynn Shultz Rift by Andrea Cremer The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab Intertwined by Gena Showalter Sisters Red by Jackson Pearce I'll Tell You Mine by Pip Harry I also want to participate in at least three challenges, two twitter chats, and stalk as many participating blogs as I can :) I will be posting my progress daily as well as my other posts I have scheduled for those days. This read-a-thon came to my attention last minute so I have some other posts already planned but I will definitely be doing both. If you want to participate there is still time to sign up! Definitely head on over Bout of Books and sign up. Keep an eye out on twitter as well #boutofbooks Good luck to everyone who is participating and I hope that you all reach your goals!
