Review The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter

The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld, #1)

His powers -- Inhuman
His passion -- Beyond immortal . . .
All her life, Ashlyn Darrow has been tormented by voices from the past. To end the nightmare, she has come to Budapest seeking help from men rumored to have supernatural abilities, not knowing she'll be swept into the arms of Maddox, their most dangerous member -- a man trapped in a hell of his own.
Neither can resist the instant hunger than calms their torments . . . and ignites an irresistible passion. But every heated touch and burning kiss will edge them closer to destruction -- and a soul-shattering test of love . . .
Though they carry an eternal curse, the Lords of the Underworld are irresistibly seductive -- and unimaginably powerful . . . Don’t miss this incredible new paranormal series from Gena Showalter!

So So I absolutely loved!!! This book. It was amazing. Gena did a great job with this book. Talk about trying to fight your humanity and I love that about paranormal romance books. I love reading about the struggle between the humanity and demon that goes on between the Lords. It was a hot and sensual read. Maddox is more passionate than any Alpha male I have read of in a while. His love for Ashlyn  after such a short time is mesmerizing. I could not put this book down. At almost 400 pages it took me only one night to read.
The action wasn't as intense for the first book but that was ok because she did a great back story on the Lords that it made up for it. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series.

sorry if this isn't the greatest review its like 3 oclock in the morning and I am feeling a little drowsy I just wanted to show how much I loved this book! hehe
