Review Nightshade by Andrea Creamer

Nightshade (Nightshade, #1)
Blurb From Goodreads:
Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

My thoughts:

Ok so I have read many reviews about Nightshade and they have all highly appraised Andrea's work, so after reading one amazing review after another I needed to pick up this book to see what all the fuss was about. So after I won this book from a blog giveaway I was ecstatic to say the least. Well it's safe to say that the reviews did not disappoint. Nightshade is beyond an amazing read. Andrea Creamer did an amazing job at capturing our attention and bringing us into her world of the wolves. I could not believe how gripping it was from the first to the last page. I loved Calla. As the Alpha of her pack she holds great responsibility. She is selfless beyond all measures.. well almost. She is destined to be with the Ren the Alpha of the Bane pack. There union has been sanctioned since their births. Calla has come to accept her place in the order of things until an unexpected stranger transfers in. Shay is a mysterious boy who Calla cannot seem to stay away from even though it could cause irrevocable damage to herself and her pack. Calla is a strong main character who was easy to identify with. I had no trouble connecting with her. As the two packs merge and Shay is introduced, things that Calla has been taught her whole life begin to unfurl. Everything is not as she has been made to believe. Her loyalties lie deep even if it means that she has to spend the rest of her life with someone she doesn't truly love.
Andrea has made an exciting world that you cannot help but want to be apart of.
I am highly anticipating Wolfsbane and cannot wait to continue Calla's story.
