Goodreads Synopsis:
Nora Grey's life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn't pleasant, but atleast she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in her life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He's more elusive than ever and even worse, he's started spending time with Nora's arch-enemy, Marcie Millar.

Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Path hadnt been acting so distant. Even with Scott's totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him - despite her lingering feeling that he's hiding something.

Haunted by images of her murdered father, and questioning whether her nephilim bloodline has anything to do with his death, Nora puts herself increasingly in dangerous situations as she desperatly searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything - and everyone - she trusts

My Thoughts:
OH My gosh!! Crescendo was flipping amazing! lol ok for anyone who has read Hush Hush you know the amazing story of Patch and Nora and if you haven't read Hush Hush I highly suggest you do so. Crescendo was brilliant. I was so excited for Patch and Nora to finally be able to be together until it all went terribly wrong.

The archangels are doing everything in their power to make sure Patch can't be happy. They have forbidden Patch to fall in love and that is exactly where him and Nora are headed. Nora breaks it off with Patch after she finds out that he spend the night with her arch nemesis Marci.  Nora is heartbroken when she realizes that there breakup might be more permanent then she thought it was going to be.

As Nora tries to deal with the heart ache of loosing Patch her mother tries to set her up with an old family friend Scott. Scott turns out to mean more to Nora and her family then she thought. Ever since Scott came into Nora's life things have been going horribly wrong. She believes she is seeing the ghost of her father and she gets a strange letter with a ring telling her that The Black Hand killed her father. This leads Nora on a hunt to find answers about what happened that night. If you thought Nora's life was messed up before you haven't seen anything yet. This book is filled with Love, laughter, heartache, and tons of mystery and suspense.

Every element that one could love about a book Crescendo has it. To Top it all off a cliffhanger like I've never read before. Talk about wanting to read the next book. The end of Crescendo definitely makes you want to read the next book. Becca did an amazing job. I love Patch and Nora and I highly recommend this book.
