Goodreads Synopsis:
Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste . . .

Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is. Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

My Thoughts:
I honestly forgot how great this series is. I first read Evermore about a year and a half ago and absolutely loved it but I haven't picked this series up in a while. I picked it up again because I needed to refresh myself to read the last three novels and it is better than I remembered it to be.

The way that Alyson goes and describes Ever and Damen's story left me breathless. The unconditional love between these two transcends the tests of time. I loved reading about all the love, heartbreak betrayal and undying devotion.

The Immortals series is one of my favorite series and I now remember why. Alyson has this amazing way of sucking you into her story and keeping you hooked until the very last word.  Her character development and descriptions make you feel like you are there with her characters. She has this uncanny way of keeping you interested without boring you with over descriptions and detail and I love that about her.

Damen and Ever will always be two of my favorite characters. I am so glad that I needed to refresh myself and remember exactly why I love this series. Alyson Noel is such an amazing author who deserves all the praise and devotion that she gets from her readers.

I Give This 5/5 Hearts!
