Goodreads Synopsis:
It's been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.

Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.

Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I StayWhere She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance

My Thoughts:

Where She Went is the sequel to the incredibly amazing If I Stay. Where She Went was just as amazingly emotionally riveting as IF I Stay.

Told from Adam's point of view Where She Went goes on the incredible journey of one mans greatest loss of the women he loved more than anyone in the world.

Adam has struggled more than anyone ever would have imagined possible. Not only did he loose Mia's family he also lost Mia. Mia survived but she was never the same.

Adam has taken a downward spiral. Sinking into a black hole that he cannot seem to climb out of. All out of grief of loosing the one thing that mattered most. He has tried to mask his pain the best way he new how but the only thing that will ever cure Adam of his heartbreak is the one thing that he can never have back. Mia.

I absolutely loved Adam from the moment he came to the page in If I Stay. He has had my heart and captured my love just the way he did Mia's. Adam is one of those male character's who doesn't try to be manly or emotionally withdrawn. He shows who he is and he doesn't care what people think.

Adam's love for Mia had me crying and laughing and going through an emotional roller coaster that left me loving ever word until the very last page.

I believe that Gayle is a rare talent. She has this way of making you forget where you are, forget what you are suppose to be doing, she makes you forget everything except for what is going on within the pages.

She is an unbelievable author who brings her words to life and makes you feel every ounce of whatever her characters are feeling.

Gayle Forman is an unbelievable talent who needs to be appreciated by everyone.

I Give This 5/5 Hearts!

  1. If I Stay and Where She Went are at the very top of my favourites from 2011 list! I didn't think it would be possible for the Where She Went to measure up to If I Stay - but I was wrong. I absolutely loved it and am so happy to hear that you did too!
