Goodreads Synopsis:
A man and a woman tread the lines of danger, desire, and deliverance in the new novel of the Fallen Angels from the #1New York Times bestselling author of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

As the son of a serial killer, homicide detective Thomas "Veck" DelVecchio, Jr., grew up in the shadow of evil. Now, on the knife-edge between civic duty and blind retribution, he atones for the sins of his father- while fighting his inner demons. Assigned to monitor Veck is Internal Affairs officer Sophia Reilly, whose interest in him is both professional and arousingly personal. And Veck and Sophia have another link:

Jim Heron, a mysterious stranger with too many answers... to questions that are deadly. When Veck and Sophia are drawn into the ultimate battle between good and evil, their fallen angel savior is the only thing that stands between them and eternal damnation.

My Thoughts:
J.R does it again. I absolutely love all of her work. I was thrilled when she branched off into fallen angels. Envy is my favourite story of the series so far.

I absolutely adored Veck and Reilly. Their relationship is one that shouldn't have happened under the best of circumstances but you can't help who you love right.

I love how J.R intertwines her character's from both series' together. I thought that was a great way to mingle two amazing series' together. I have only come across some of the smaller character's from her BDB series but I love that she has incorporated them into The Fallen Angels's novels.

Jim is such a great character. His struggles with Devina and his new life as an Angel are fun to go through with him. But the tribulations that he has to go through are not easy and they  will test his strength more than ever before.

J.R Ward is one of my all time favorite author's. Her ability to bring a thrilling edge and sexy romance into her stories makes it all the more fun to read.

I Give This 4/5 Hearts!
