Goodreads Synopsis:
There is need. And then there is Fate...

Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.

When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.

When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

My Thoughts:
Pure was just as amazing and action-packed and I was hoping and expecting it to be. I had very high expectations for Pure, just because Half-Blood was such an amazing book, I was not let down one bit.
Such a rush of excitement throughout the entire novel. Jennifer brought Pure to a whole new level

I loved every minute of this amazing story, can't you tell already. Alex keeps me laughing through the whole book. Her sarcastic nature brings a level of humour that is very enjoyable.

I adore Aiden, but then again who doesn't? His whole being is set to do nothing more than protect Alex. Even if it means bringing heartbreak to them both.
But as the relationship between Alex and Aiden drifts apart, Alex and Seth grow closer and their relationship is taken to a whole new level.

The suspense with Pure is amazing. Jennifer does it again and brings the entire story to new heights. I am very excited for Deity and I am more excited to find out what Alex is going to do about Seth and Aiden.

  2. I'm reading this one right now and I can't wait to get home tonight so that I can finish it! I know that the relationships between Alex and Aiden and Seth are going to drastically change, so I'm dying to see what happens with that! I love all of Jennifer's books - she's just fantastic isn't she?
