Goodreads Synopsis:
One choice can transform you--or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves--and herself--while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable--and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

"New York Times" bestselling author Veronica Roth's much-anticipated second book of the dystopian "Divergent" series is another intoxicating thrill ride of a story, rich with hallmark twists, heartbreaks, romance, and powerful insights about human nature

My Thoughts:
Oh Wow! What an amazing sequel to an already amazing story. Insurgent picks up right where Divergent leaves off. Ms. Roth has done an incredible job in continuing this story. She has taken us on a whirlwind adventure and every single moment is just packed full of action and adventure.

I thought Divergent was one of the best books that I had read in a long time but I would have to say that Insurgent just kicked it up 500 notches for me. The ending of this story is a shocker for sure.

I love Tris and she is put through more trials and tribulations in Insurgent than she has ever been through. She will be tested in every way shape and form. Her relationships are tested in every way and she battle's with her own inner demons as well.

If you loved Divergent then you will not be disappointed with Insurgent. If you have not yet picked up this amazing story then you need to run out now and get a copy!
I am so excited to see how Ms.Roth ends this amazing story. I cannot wait for next year
