Goodreads Synopsis:
Opposites in every way . . . except the one that matters
Shaw Landon loved Rule Archer from the moment she laid eyes on him. Rule is everything a straight--A pre-med student like Shaw shouldn’t want--and the only person she’s never tried to please. She isn’t afraid of his scary piercings and tattoos or his wild attitude. Though she knows that Rule is wrong for her, her heart just won’t listen.
To a rebel like Rule Archer, Shaw Landon is a stuck-up, perfect princess-and his dead twin brother’s girl. She lives by other people’s rules; he makes his own. He doesn’t have time for a good girl like Shaw-even if she’s the only one who can see the person he truly is.
But a short skirt, too many birthday cocktails, and spilled secrets lead to a night neither can forget. Now, Shaw and Rule have to figure out how a girl like her and a guy like him are supposed to be together without destroying their love . . . or each other
My Thoughts:
Holy crap on a cracker I am freaking in Love! To say that I have found a new set of bad boys to entangle my time with is an understatement. I am such a fan of The Marked Men and I am so thrilled to see with Jay has in store for the next couple of novels.
Rule is a badass sarcastic boy who is just completely misunderstood and has been his entire life. Shaw see's through all of Rules crap and loves him fiercely anyway. But are these two just doomed to have an explosive relationship or can they really make things work?
I tore through the pages of Rule in a day. I started it in the morning and was finished by dinner. I could not stop reading it. The chemistry that comes off the pages was intense. What I really loved about Rule was that it wasn't just a sexed up book, there was an actual storyline and you are able to invest yourself into the characters. The plot was there and it made all the steamy parts just that much better.
I am a huge fan of this genre and I am not disappointed at all with Rule. I cannot wait to see where she takes these sexy tatted up boys and whose going to be the lucky woman who gets to own their hearts?
