Follow Friday: It's Been A While

#FF is on! The Feature & Follow – gain more followers with a hop…

Follow Friday is hosted by two great bloggers Rachel from Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Reading

I haven't participated in a follow friday in a really really long time. I kind of miss it to be honest

Q: Have you ever influenced someone to read a book, a series, or a whole genre? What books? And who was it? Did they like it?

A: I can say that I have (successfully) gotten my good friend Becca from Becca's Book Affair to branch out from her normal genres. She is a big fan of high fantasy and I have convinced her to check out Contemporary. I believe the first Contemporary novel I gave her was Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elekes.  She is one of those stubborn( love you) types of readers and I have now made a monster ( or so I like to think) out of her for this wonderful genre. Now we don't always see eye to eye on every book ( who does?) but she has fallen for this great genre just like I have.  Do not forget to Follow Becca as well as these other great blogs.

    • Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
    • Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say “hi” in your comments and that they are now following you.
    • If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn’t have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
    • Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don’t just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don’t say “HI”
    • If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love…and the followers
    • If you’re new to the follow Friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog

So head on over to some of these great blogs and show some love and follow along :)

  2. Our book club encourages reading just about EVERYTHING! We vote on monthly group reads to discuss. Sometimes we hate 'em; sometimes we love 'em. The most important thing is to have fun, right?

  6. I can be quite stubborn in sticking to my genres so sometimes I have to be forced to find something new! I did introduce my sister to The Hunger Games, although I haven't read it myself. The movies were a major motivator for her as well though! I'm a new GFC follower! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you had a great weekend!
