I had to share this with you guys. If you didn't already know they are making a movie version of one of the greatest stories (in my opinion) of all time.
I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am for this movie. I read The Giver in grade 8 as I am sure most of you read this in school. This is one of those books that have stuck with me through the years. I went out and bought myself a copy and have re-read this book I don't know how many times.
For those who have read The Giver please tell me that you are as excited as I am to watch this. And if you never got a chance to read this in school I highly suggest that you go out and pick up a copy. It is not a long book at all so it will be a fast enough read but this is one of those books that you should read at least once in your lifetime.

I'm excited, but also fearful. Some books don't translate well to the Big Screen. Great cast, though.
